LEXUS LS430 CATALYST REGENERATION - EURO 4 500 cpsi
Wondering how the process of catalytic converter regeneration in Lexus LS430 goes? I'll tell you about it step by step so you know what to expect. You'll see that remanufacturing is a great way to get your car back to full performance ;)
In our hands today was a catalytic converter from a Lexus LS430 with a powerful 4.3L V8 engine, an indestructible unit, but one that requires care. Reconditioning the catalytic converter is a key step in maintaining its excellent condition. Here's how the process works:
1. Preparing the catalytic converter to remove the old, worn ceramic cartridge
The first step is to cut open the original catalytic converter to assess its condition. It is important to carefully examine the cartridge and determine the degree of wear.
2. Cut the original case and remove the damaged catalytic converter cartridge
Removing a worn-out cartridge is a precise job that requires patience. We gently get rid of the old ceramic, which no longer serves its purpose, preparing a place for the new cartridge.
3. Assembly of a new metal cartridge AWG EURO 4 - 500 cpsi LINK TO THE PRODUCT
The next step is the installation of a new metal cartridge with EURO 4 emission standards and a capacity of 500 cpsi. This state-of-the-art cartridge provides higher efficiency and durability.
4. Catalyst casing welding
After replacing the cartridge, the catalytic converter housing is welded to ensure its tightness and durability. This process takes about 2 hours. Once this step is completed, the catalytic converter regeneration is complete and the catalytic converter is ready to be reinstalled in the car.
