Owners of Kia and Hyundai cars with 1.6 GDI, 1.8 GDI and 2.0 GDI engines are increasingly reporting problems with the catalytic converter. The design flaw causes the original ceramic catalytic converter to begin to crumble, which can lead to serious engine damage.
