Also, do not forget to remove the cause of the insert's rapid wear if it has worn out faster than standard; this could be due to oil or fuel leaking into the exhaust system. If you have a gas installation and it is not well regulated, it also contributes to the faster wear of the original ceramic inserts, which are not resistant to the higher combustion temperature of gas.
Due to current emission standards, we recommend using an insert that meets the EURO 4 standard. The EURO 4 standard is one of the latest and most demanding emission standards in the European Union, specifying the maximum permissible levels of harmful emissions into the atmosphere by cars.
