Sport catalysts are elements of the exhaust system that are characterized by increased throughput and greater resistance to high combustion temperatures. Sports catalysts - different groups
Sports catalysts can be divided into two main groups: the first with a capacity of 100 cpsi is intended mainly for motorsport and rally cars, and the second with a capacity of 200-300 cpsi is dedicated to installation in cars tuned as a hobby. Each of these groups must meet exhaust emission standards.
A trade-off between efficiency and catalyst efficiency

In addition, the 200 cpsi catalytic converter creates the right pressure in the exhaust system, which is necessary for the proper functioning of the engine.
When we choose a catalyst with a throughput of 100 cpsi
Catalysts with a capacity of 100 cpsi are dedicated to cars that do not travel on public roads. Thanks to the very small area of the catalytic insert, this catalyst will not be a brake for the exhaust gases and will be decent in heavily rebuilt cars, where only power without compromise counts. 100 cpsi catalysts are perfect for cars that take part in rallies or on various types of racing tracks.
