CATALYST REGENRATION Audi S5 Coupe B8 8T 2014 3.0 TFSI Quattro
The catalytic converters came to us empty. The car was from the USA so it was probably damaged, and often gets exhaust as a result of which the ceramic, which is inside the catalytic converter housing, breaks and over time such a damaged cartridge is spat out by the exhaust. Due to the sporty nature of the car, the customer opted for sports cartridges with a capacity of 200 cpsi. Cartridges with emission standards Euro 5 with a diameter of 120 mm and a height of 100 mm were installed. These cartridges feature a robust design with three centers. To enter the inserts with a length of 100 mm, it was necessary to move the sockets of the lambda probes slightly backwards. The inserts were tig welded on the inside and so were the housings in place of the original welds for aesthetics.
