Catalytic converter regeneration involves replacing worn-out inserts with new metal ones, restoring the system to full efficiency and meeting EURO 6 emission standards. The regeneration process uses high-quality metal inserts that match the original specifications. Thanks to the use of inserts with a flow rate of 400+400 cpsi, no errors occur in the engine control unit. In rare cases, however, it may be necessary to manually clear the error using computer diagnostics, which is a standard procedure after replacing exhaust system components.

RFC catalysts with a flow rate of 400 cpsi feature improved exhaust gas flow and lower resistance, which in some cases can positively affect vehicle performance. However, it is important to remember that the effectiveness of the catalytic converter depends largely on the overall technical condition of the vehicle—in particular, the fuel injection system, ignition system, and engine.

• 200 + 200 cpsi – highest flow capacity; in most cases, this causes the check engine light to come on – requires engine software modification.
• 400 + 200 cpsi – reduces the risk of an engine error, in many cases works without intervention. However, this depends on the car’s condition, the state of the fuel injectors, the efficiency of the lambda sensors, and the quality of the fuel-air mixture.
• 400 + 400 cpsi – guarantees no engine errors, requires no modifications.

Note: Installation of a catalytic converter with 200 + 200 and 400 + 200 cpsi inserts may be insufficient in vehicles with a malfunctioning engine or fuel system. This may lead to improper catalytic converter operation and failure to meet emission standards.
