If you have a gas installation installed and it is not well adjusted, it also contributes to faster wear of the original ceramic inserts, which are not resistant to the higher gas combustion temperature.

You need to cut the original casing and weld the insert in place of the original one along with the entire casing. The insert should be installed in accordance with the arrow engraved on the insert housing, which indicates the direction of exhaust gas flow.
