S409 stainless steel sport catalytic converter with S-type metal cartridge with 3 cores for increased performance and durability. Compatible with gasoline engines, diesel engines and LPG systems. When fitted in parallel, they can handle an engine capacity 50 per cent greater than the stated capacity. The cone on one side has been shortened, allowing the catalytic converter to be installed in cars with limited space. The ceramic coating reduces heat transfer from the exhaust system considerably, which helps to keep the exhaust gas temperature higher inside the system. This allows the exhaust gas to travel faster, which can improve gas flow and engine performance. The higher temperature inside the catalytic converter results in higher performance in exhaust gas cleaning - the ceramic coating makes it reach its ideal temperature faster and releases less heat to the outside.

The catalytic converter meets the requirements of the European directive:

• EURO 4 Directive 98/69/EC, 2002/80/EC for all vehicles, in force since 2005.
• Euro 5 Directive 2007/715/EC[13] for light passenger and company cars. Effective from 2009.
